This is the finished work from the Chow girl. I suppose I could refine it more but I think for a free sketch it is fine enough.

Got these speakers for 40 bucks that have nice blue LEDS. Perfect to go with my glowing blue desktop.
I found that working with wrist braces is a bit difficult to adjust to. I attempted a sketch and found it terrible. I decided to go with another method. I started off with a silhouette of the character I was going to draw and just painted it in. No sketching at all. I need to fix the anatomy of course, but here is a work in progress.
Another progress shot of Quiggles after having some time to come back to painting. Learning how to utilize paper textures a bit better. My hands still hurt.
Ok I think I’ve done enough. I put them all in one Super post. Enjoy the Berserk overload.
I really wish they didn’t bleach Caska. I always loved her black eyes and hair along with dark skin. The added stuff at the ball in the 2nd Berserk movie was charming. I should do some fan art of Caska some time. She’s an awesome lady.
Here are my settings for Corel Painter 12.
I will probably change the Alt Key on express key to give me the sub- menus instead since I already have ALT mapped to my stylus.
In Painter you can activate a floating color wheel by using CTRL+ALT+1 I use this regularly since I don’t always like having the color wheel panel open.
On the fly Brush sizing is a must so it is mapped to my backswitch on my stylus.
Color picking is also something I use a lot so it’s on my front switch of my stylus.
I don’t use Undo and Redo as much so I keep them on the express keys in case something terrible happens.
